On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan talks with State Trooper and K9 specialist Dieter Kochan about understanding how deer smell through his experience with dogs.Dieter starts off by setting the base and talks about the amazing things that dogs can do with their nose. How they train them, their biology, and how he feels that you can never trick a  dogs nose.Then the conversation turns to deer and how he has been able to get a better understand of deer and deer movement based on what he has learned from working with K9's.
