Learning How You Think to Improve How You Learn | Deciding How New Information Impacts Your Beliefs
from Support, Protect, Empower - The Project Purpose Podcast · host Rachelle Innocent
Learning How You Think to Improve How You Learn | Deciding How New Information Impacts Your Beliefs There is a high bid for your thoughts, beliefs and desires. More specifically, a high price that many people, corporations, government, and academic institutions will pay to ensure that your beliefs align with their agenda. While some of us carry the power to influence and sway the masses, most of us simply don't put too much weight, or emphasis, on the significance of what we believe. Many of us align to the majority without first filtering the messaging through the lens of our values, ethics, and sense of personal convictions. An alternative strategy is to give yourself the tools to think critically about all that you interact with, and be mindful and intentional when you assume your position on a topic. You'll only start to realize to what extent your voice has value, when you invest enough in understanding to make your opinion count. Any questions?
