Learning Peace, Living Awake

Isaiah sees nations streaming to Gods mountain to learn the ways of peace; Jesus calls disciples to stay awake because the Son of Man comes at an hour we do not expect. Promise and warning meet: Gods future is already drawing the world toward instruction, yet its arrival will still surprise. Advent waiting, then, is alert apprenticeshipwalking in the light now because the day is near.
