Learning to Love

What did G-d know about the ancient temple and the Hebrew sacrificial system HE installed? If you believe, as I do that HE knew it all, then the requirement for blood should be considered today. The bible also is complete, but not outdated, so how do we understand the value of the system that no longer exists? Some toss it all out while others benefit from G-ds instruction.
