When I started my agency I was terrible at sales.  Great at marketing, but yes, completely terrible at sales. I’d been taught a fear based uber masculine structure for sales calls, that I tried and failed to implement.  After 20 failed attempts, paying $150 per sales call, I realised I needed to find a better way. I dove into learning from books, podcasts, other business owners and mentors.  And I realised that there was a structure to the sales call for a reason, but that it didn’t have to be based on provoking fear.  I needed to inspire action, yes, but it could be done with inspiration and hope.
