Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was asked this week about Supreme Court Justice Alito having an upside-down US flag at his house. The longtime symbol of distress has been co-opted by the “Stop the Steal” activists pushing the idea that President Biden somehow stole an election despite no evidence to back it up. McConnell had words for a few Republicans who have criticized the move.
