Leaving a $100 Million Empire Behind For Good | Jim Greenbaum

from The Exam Room by the Physicians Committee

Jim Greenbaum walked away from successful $130 million business with one mission in mind, use his wealth to change the world. Little did he know that his world was about to change as well.   It all began with a conversation at the gym.   Those few minutes helped this man with exceptional generosity and a tireless work ethic to help others began to realize that he too needed help.   After growing up in the land of Crisco, red meat, and Coca-Cola, Jim knew he had to do something to avoid the same fate as others in his family who were stricken with heart disease. He was already struggling with high triglycerides and cholesterol.   Jim was given a copy of The China Study by T. Colin Campbell and began implementing changes. It only took one month for "everything to go into total balance" for the first time in his life.   The effect was so profound that Jim shifted the focus and vast resources of his foundation to moving the world toward a plant-based diet and vegan lifestyle.   Generosity is alive and well. — — GIVING TUESDAY — — Support PCRM today and your donation will automatically be doubled through Giving Tuesday on Nov. 28.
