On this episode we are joined with Karlyn Labate (MHA, RT R), who is the Director for the radiology program at SUNY and the President elect for the New York State Society of Radiologic Sciences.  She spends time with hosts Maracelene Forbus (RT R, RPA) and Reece Burgoon (RT R, RRA) to share the importance of our impacts as working medical imaging professionals with students in radiology programs.  Her words are encouraging and you can tell she has a passion for educating and working in the field of radiology. Taking the time to share with us how the changes in the profession have evolved and how students keep us up to date with the most current knowledge.  She explains how working together improves the profession for generations to come.  We spend our time talking about various programs and what to expect as a student, from being accepted to completing the program. In the end Karlyn Labate explains how the RA has made an impact with her students and the importance of the profession.  Her explanation on how she would like to see our profession grow and gain traction was absolutely wonderful.  We were so thrilled to be sharing these conversations with her and we hope you enjoyed the discussions as well.
