His multifaceted artwork covers building facades, galleries, and private collections throughout the US. His engaging and spirited work is highly sought after and flows from the intersections of his passions for creative expression and positive social impact.Representation is an essential factor in the projected outcomes of BIPOC youth and young adults. Much of Alexander’s practice enhances those outcomes by sharing his work and experiences and providing art-making opportunities and professional development. Tamahn’s art has become more prominent in public spaces. He believes public art is essential because no one needs permission to access and engage with it. His work is featured on HGTV and DIY networks and in several significant publications. He’s worked with Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, The State of Oklahoma, Wilsons Sporting Goods, T-Mobile, The National Historic Landmarks Program, and The Oklahoma City Thunder. He continues to make increasingly more prolific contributions to the creative canon as a Black queer artist.
