Leavitt Moves from White House to MAGA | US News

Karoline Leavitt, the youngest-ever White House press secretary, has stepped down to join MAGA Inc. and serve as an outside adviser to President Trump — a move that was anticipated after Trump announced her departure in August, citing family needs while confirming her continued role in his orbit. Already active, she joined Trump at a South Carolina rally and will headline the RNC’s midterm convention in Dallas. With deep ties to MAGA Inc. and proven skills in connecting with the GOP base, Leavitt is seen as a strategic asset as polls show the GOP trailing ahead of midterms. At just 28, her political trajectory already mirrors those of past press secretaries who’ve gone on to TV or governorships — and she’s already pushing back on negative narratives, spotlighting tax cuts and Trump’s enduring message.
