Lebby’s Confidence Boost for MSU | Mississippi State Bulldogs Football News

Mississippi State’s Jeff Lebby dropped some serious confidence at SEC Media Days, saying his roster is the biggest reason for optimism—and it’s a far cry from the past two seasons. He’s built a staff with proven coordinators like Montgomery, Johns, and Brock, plus respected defensive mind Zach Arnett. The Starkville community vibe? Pure gold—deeply supportive, family-friendly, and exactly how he was raised. On the field, the offensive line’s improved, and Lebby’s pushing for balance and explosiveness, especially in the run game, despite SEC’s tough defenses. He’s laser-focused on one week at a time, with depth at RB led by Fluff Bothwell and veteran QB AJ Swann adding grit and experience.
