BA '16] BIO: Liam Elphick is a Lecturer at the University of Western Australia Law School. Liam graduated from UWA with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts in 2016, and was then Associate to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the Honourable Wayne Martin, before returning to UWA. Liam is an Equity and Diversity Advisor in the Law School, and also sits on the UWA LGBTIQA+ Working Group and the Pinnacle Foundation WA Regional Committee. He has published widely on anti-discrimination law, sports law and legal education, and has been interviewed regularly on issues relating to LGBTIQA+ anti-discrimination protections and religious freedom. Liam has also been an AFL Scout for the past decade, first at Sydney Swans and for the last 8 years at Port Adelaide.
