Three astronauts, part of an international mission to land on the moon, are pushed off course by what they initially suspect is a mechanical or electrical problem. But after being forced to land at an unplanned location, they discover something they are not meant to see and began to question why they have been misdirected and who is behind it. When they are recalled early, it becomes apparent that they are not meant to make it back. Help comes from a mysterious source which asks that they tell their story to correct the historical record.
