Lee Silverman started with one Jack Rabbit Sports store in 2003 and had four stores around New York City before selling the stores to The Finish Line in 2015. While he owned the stores, a sales rep from Win Detergent pitched him on carrying the detergent in his stores because the product would remove the running and fitness related smells that regular detergents simply couldn't. Silverman went home and tried Win out on his favorite running shirt that he had just thrown away because it smelled so bad. Needless to say, he loved the product and he ended up buying the company.
