Leeds Collapse in Carabao Cup | Chelsea F.C. News

Leeds United crumbled in a 6-3 Carabao Cup defeat to Chelsea, undone by a second-half collapse after leading 2-0 at halftime. Manager Daniel Farke’s heavy rotation—eight changes—may have backfired, especially with Newcastle looming. Chelsea, despite their own squad shuffles, capitalized with ruthless efficiency, scoring six goals on just eight shots on target, including a debut for goalkeeper Zetterer. With this loss, Leeds are eliminated from the League Cup, leaving 26 teams still alive. The next draw is set after Man Utd vs Brighton, with Round 4 fixtures scheduled for October 26th.
