A mother and student preparing to move into a place of her own, she was beginning a life in a different direction. In the days before her disappearance, nothing seemed out of place. Weeks later, she was reported missing. Her belongings were still there, with no sign she had planned to leave. More than two decades later, Petra has not been found, and no one has been charged in connection to her disappearance.
