Today’s Show is my last full interview for a special guest representing Spooky Season. I was so excited to come across Writer and Director Mike Zara on social media as I read with interest about his new business where he is combining his love of toys, plus his amazing writing skills for IP representation for up and coming and established brands. He had already done entertainment product placement in the fashion industry in movies and television and now he is brining that experience and going beyond in this new business, cleverly titled, “Toy Storiez.” Doing my research on Mike, I got even more excited to find he was closely involved with one of my favorite television shows, “Major Crimes.” The spin off of Kyra Sedgewicks television show, “The Closer. Mike went from writers assistant to eventually story editing and producing episodes. He also worked on two short lived faves of mine with some stellar casts, Kristin Chenoweth on GSB to Jennifer Love Hewitt’s show “The Client List.” We talk about Mike’s background in being bullied and overcoming to be a successful writer and now starting his own business.
