Snakes. How are you doing today? I'm good. I can't complain too much.

I want to talk about legacy tonight With a recent person of Kobe Bryant and his daughter I thought that was that'll be very fitting for the show got me to thinking about my own mortality And I'm pretty sure about your sense of it too, but I just really want to talk about it Well, that's the final legacy for a moment legacy is the plan is an amount of money or property left to someone in the wheel Now that's the general definition Let me expound upon that legacy is also the impact that you got behind and it's also the memories as well Now when I say impact I'm talking about the amount of people out there to influence and amount of lives to change for the better and I just want to get your Take on what a legacy means that you and what are you doing in particular to leave a legacy behind? We can call the I know that people are saying always celebrating now everyone's so like His legacy I think we think about that when it's others that are not famous, but of course, it's not publicize on the same level But for me my legacy is very important to me I'm praying and hoping that I put it in print emotional for my kids than anyone else We have a family full of women and We don't have many many in our families to carry on our last name So it's something that's very important to me I would pray that my children would be in a good light We all have to may have had traumas and I was in our childhoods and I would hope that they don't have those things Trauma so I would hopefully a good imprint on how to move forward in life How to live righteous and how to build generational wealth? I would hope that my legacy would be that but you don't know what type of imprint you're gonna be on people you just try for that You know Celebrity and some people just started on just not thinking about it just because it's a Liberty But you know reason like I'm thinking about it in general because you know a couple things happen I didn't even this be my first time addressing this but one of my relatives. He was killed in Walmart, right?

He got shot one more in the water and This be my first time dressing it here, but I was thinking about it again because I was thinking to myself And he just had to keep and it just got me to think in there any given time any given day You could just go and that's why when people ask me They sometimes people ask me they say hey, how do you find time to sleep and I'd be like a I'll just be like a I don't be Owned like sleep. I really don't like sleep because I'm always trying to do something I was trying to accomplish everything that I'm trying to accomplish while I'm here because I don't know how much time I really have Time is so very important to me and it seems like You just losing people Day to day now, you know and it's such a precious thing to have time as well But also to leave behind something that your kids could be proud of your name money Just something that they could be proud of some assets. I think it'd be proud of memories when they think about you And I think that's very important. Oh And and more people just like that.

I used to create a generation Now people don't know how to measure generation well. Could you explain that for me? What's your definition? How would you okay?

So some I would this is the way that I kind of say it's a my oldest son No one and I don't care when the one says but no one no one no one is going to take care of you the way that I have and will always No one and I say that to tell him that today or tomorrow if I was to leave Go for bed that I would hope that he would take some of the information that I'm giving him and apply it to life And when I say general wage generation of wealth, it doesn't always have to be about money It has to be about the mindset Just being focused on the things that you need to do You just need to create a good example of things don't come so easy and that you have to work for things that you really want So when I say that the podcasting situation for example, he wants to do that So I would hope that he do it and he goes forward with it He makes you know makes it something that he can monetize off and maybe the next person of bill he can build some type of Platform for the he can move further in that but because I Dabble in it it sparked his interest. So maybe it would pursue him to do other things. It always doesn't have to be money A lot of people in it and like doesn't even have health insurance They don't have Bereal insurance and it may not have any type of insurance that would help their children or loved ones even bury them in People don't realize that that's such a verb that's a burden to leave on someone And I'm gonna say that like you want to be able to leave something to your children like like you said Something behind that it can have to build other things and pray that you do the right things with the money But move on in life without you. I know money doesn't fix everything, but it does help You know leaving behind generational wealth, let me tell you something I would assume that that I help because because You know your children like as far as like black people go Black people when we start we start with zero with zero point one percent of everything that we need in this world Agree as opposed to white people when they start they start with about 90% of that Building and generating generational wealth is very important because I know people want to have this whole thing Well, I want to work forward That's not the mindset to have it's not it's not you won't judge You have a great platform to start with once they get that you got bill upon it Continue to build upon it and we got to stop thinking like that We got it because you know what thing and I want to bring this up right now My thing is and this is one reason why I don't like the church and I don't go to church It's because from I just realized from a kid.

We've been taught that money is evil Money is the rule of all evil. They keep saying all that they say that in black churches all the time Go on to a white church again I'll say money is a rule of all evil and then the great thing is that a blank church I know this is kind of such a book. I just want to bring yourself in the blank church They say money is a rule of all evil damn they turn around and pass a collection place So money on so much people when I got it is good I don't agree with the church thing Understand that portion of you saying that money is a rule of all money Leaving The lack of money is the rule of all evil. Let me tell you that Absolutely With the passing of my kids for the I learned a lot People will do anything or money if he has 20,000 as closet they want to make sure that no matter how young you are Please plan for your children Please make sure that your things are in order Make sure that your thing go where you want them to be do not leave your family in a point where they have to fight over things I think that is very important put it in your will.

I don't care if it's five dollars They will fight over that five dollars So just make sure your affairs or in order. I don't care how Totally real to think we'll fight over will make a fight over the will whatever the will see is it says Yeah, it says I think we'll fight over all types of answers as well. Yeah, but not those people like to see Online on Twitter and I want to make this very clear when I say this With and is mostly been white females on Twitter and on IG that's been Also in his whole lab about Kobe Bryant rape somebody trying to tarnish his legacy First of all, there was no improvement as a matter of fact a woman came out says she was lying and it's been proven That she's a liar because she was going around bragging about sleeping with Kobe Bryant Another thing was she was found to help eight seamers every different do same as in her job. Excuse me Yes, yes that's from a one night.

Yes Very disgusting I know but We as black people we can't even die piece while we discussing that you I want to say because what this is fun being part of legacy White people trying to try legacy the only try to misrepresent what we meant in our legacy like Dr. King For example, I like all about heroes all about icons. They always try to turn a shot shit Because they have no real heroes. We are only we are only people that have real heroes.

We ain't gotta make up comic book heroes now With that being saved Enough is enough. I didn't try to say like more than the king was about peace. No, he wasn't he wasn't about Innovation and all the rest of this stuff. That's a company lie Like they're trying to portray Mac on this whole violence violent person.

That's a completely lie and not trying to turn his Kobe's legacy. We as black people can't even die in peace with these white supremacists and I want to say this here and now Fuck. Oh, yeah, yeah, that that was very unnecessary. I did not see it.

Um, but Not only did he pass his daughter passed and that's something that we're gonna place in the media In light of a child children because it was more than one child on the plane passing and that's what we're highlighting. I mean, there's just no respect No matter what you do. They're gonna bring that portion of everything and I'm just glad that We as a people are not engaging in that type of activity when the passing of this man has happened and tragically with his daughter in his arms Yeah And and I'm not even a Lakers fan and I've heard by it because you know, it's like it's almost like And I don't want to sound like it but I like you lose a family member a little bit because you know, you don't know personally I just know we try to touch a column but it's almost like you kind of like seen him and you kind of like grew up with him throughout the years and And I tell anybody at the basketball player. I say hey Kobe only because His team used to be They had a damn Kobe, you know, but always respected his game and always respected him as a person because he put in hardcore And that's something that I would always respect about him.

Definitely I agree with you. I was never a leekest fan I was never ever a leekest fan and I did not like Kobe. I thought he was cocky I hated the fact that he just won all the time But how can you not acknowledge the great person that he was on the court off the court? He had girls that he was coaching.

He was he loved his family no matter what the media stated about anything about any type of cheating or being with other women You cannot take away the fact that this man always traveled with his daughter was a every game That was the purpose of him getting the helicopter so he can be with his family every day no matter where he was Yes Very unfortunate But we talked about legacy when we talked about impacted people lands What is more personal impacted your life Like it doesn't have to be a celebrity but it could be somebody that's a good Who is somebody that's impacted your life and it's not an impact on you so far If I had to name someone in non-celebrity would have to be my grandfather Like my grandfather is literally like everything to me Like you know how you go to church and it's got like that Scott to me like I know I'm being like dramatic put my grandfather really really Showed me how to be a very independent woman even when I was married My grandfather told me when I was writing when I was wrong, but yet he took care of his kids his four girls and his son and Anytime that anything arises he's a person that we always go to he had the most I want to say like I don't like whatever he said was done with no question but yet It was so gentle and sensitive the way he gave you the information and you accepted it and You acknowledged it and you when you said down and thought about it He knew that he was the right decision of me any decision that I've ever made in life up until today Was I had to speak with my grandfather about it before I even did Impacting you I'm not gonna say it's not he has recently been diagnosed with dementia Okay, so it's kind of hard for me because he doesn't even remember me at some time so It's hard because I don't have that person to look to now and I'm gonna say that has very much thought impacted the fact that I haven't moved forward with a lot of things that I have That I usually would have But I'm trying to figure out a way to make this happen with his voices in the back of my head Right Like my grandmother's voice I can hear sometimes I can't say yeah, I wouldn't do that time I should do that Absolutely There's boys to be like boy Right now, you know, I'm sorry right now, you know And there's different people in your life there's actually different ways But as far as I leave in a legacy sometimes people really the legacy way on we're well But they also leave a legacy or lessons and just give you all types of wisdom in life. Absolutely And if I had to pick a celebrity Clarence Avon Oh clowns Avon Well, this he's not really a celebrity but he's like in the background of being a celebrity he connects the celebrities together Like David's he connects everybody with he's not the celebrity, but he makes things happen Yes Approach the things is very different, but yet he got the job done I don't go say all of his ways or something that I would say but I would love to Maybe mimic the things that he had accomplished in life Yeah, like he never wants to be the celebrity. He always wanted to be the connections, but never the celebrity I think it's um, I want to say one of his phrases was he never want to be the king He always want to be the king maker absolutely and that's very important I love people want to be out there in the front now if I can make one change that I'll make another one Absolutely, and that's what I'm trying to do for my children Okay Try to make some king I'm trying to make some king Absolutely We know why yeah It's so many ways we can take that in so many ways we do we definitely do So when you when you when you leave this earth, what do you want to like a celebrity? I just I don't to be honest with you.

I don't care with the world sees or thinks I'm very concerned of what my children think and know and again, I would hope my legacy would be something not Over exaggerated but yet something that my children can be proud of I don't really have the words because I think about it all the time and in like this situation It just makes me it makes it heightened until people all the time that parental pstd psd t's from center yeah, it's real And my But the p in front which means parental Okay I Dramatic stress disorder. It's absolutely real And what I say when I say that is I'm so Consumed with the thoughts and actions of my children That sometimes the world does not even exist because you may have Maybe seen your parents in another light and that you have this preconceived notion about how you're well How your childhood was Maybe not getting any explanation behind it that you worry about what your kids think or what your kids see So I literally have that like I before the crash with Kobe. I was in the car with my son I never let him sit in the front but for some reason I know that I let him sit in the front seat of the car He had to see though. No, but for some reason another he leaned on the door And when he slipped he didn't grab the handle he grabbed the proportion that opens the door I had to pull over it's a 30 minutes not a door.

They're not open But it took me 30 minutes to gather myself and I just had these flashes of me being in a car with my children and we all died together So Now I'm on the side of the road for 30 minutes. I gather myself. I'm home once I get inside It kind of like when we like a whole anxiety of it all went away I get on the internet and I see that Kobe's eyes in the crash, but he didn't see the daughter at the time Right color. I would later then it says the daughter My anxiety was on high.

So I'm like if something would happen To me what I wanted what I want to die like that and what would my children say? Well, what was I a good mother? Did I what would they say? Well, my obituary read what if did I impact put any impact on the world?

And if I had to die What I want to die with my children and selfishly At one point I felt like I did Because I will scared to leave them here alone So then it makes me think that I have not yet put in the work that I thought I had So that would be something that I feel like I have to work on Like if you leave today, would you be would you be happy with everything? Definitely not because so much I want to coverage But you know one of my professors they said They really don't want to have an empty funeral and I know and I say this over and over again I know I'm not an easy person of love but On the flip side of it. I don't think I'm going to have an empty funeral. I think it'll be packed Uh packed to the next, all right What do you want it to be my question?

Would you want it to be packed? What people who did not love you while you were here? I don't think it would be though. I don't think it would be Well, I mean you're not hard to love.

You might be hard to like But you're not hard to love I don't think it's any kind of way And I'm not talking about you man, I'm talking about you like here I'm talking about you too Obviously, I'm talking about you I'm talking about you know what I'm saying? I'm talking about you But the thing is my success is always good You know, it may not come open It's been good. Um, all right the right thing to say but my teachers appear And they are good and I always try to get a lot of room. I'm always trying to help people get in a better position than they always are um It's just the Way that I'm going about it could be because it's in difficult at the time, but you know It's what it is like, but I don't want to empty funeral If I do have one and that'll be okay if my my family and my son just showed up Like I don't want to separate my son, but if my family just showed up then I'll be okay with that too You know, have you ever been to a funeral when they're reading the obituary and it's all if everything is wrong.

Yes Yes, I've been a generalist when Um people are pissed and I say they say all these nice things about them like no Now that's one thing I don't want to happen about you. I'm talking about me Please have a truth about me. Hey, okay. Look, I'm gone But a lot of people I've been to the funeral.

They say a lot of nice thing. I'm like as a matter of fact Some people probably came to this funeral and make sure they was dead and that's it. Yeah, that's it. Okay.

Absolutely That is real shit. And some people even make a good effect on you Right. So that's a concern for me. I'm not In my eyes.

I'm not that bad. Yeah, in your eyes. You're not that bad. But Do you want them to say the right things that makes it sound right or do you want them to write it the way it is?

Right the way it is. I don't know. I want to learn all my story. Okay, don't you get on me a lot If you feel like a this guy has missed wrong me and somebody which always I can say that But at the same time what you know something I've never and I can speak to this and I can you say never say never But I've never intentionally hurt anybody in my life.

Absolutely and I think I can I can agree with it. No mouse my own If I did hurt your ass is because you deserved it and you try to hurt me first. Oh you gave me something first You know pull a rank on you or I had to you know show you what was what and I would know you know page Okay, okay. I'm gonna say it just like that.

Okay, okay Sometimes when you know you humble and your children they could be misconstrued Absolutely, but a lot of times if I am somebody Well, aim up and say they got hurt is because they try to do something or they try to hurt me some type of way and I saw before they did it And I got your ass first and I don't apologize for it. Oh, that's your thing But I've been so funeral where the details of the legacy would think or it. What do you mean about it? Um Not the correct number of children Not the right location of work He did not go to that high school Oh It was awful Well, sometimes when we talk about the number of kids, right?

Maybe they had more No, let's kids. Let's kids. Okay. Well, unfortunately there.

Let's kids that they finally had a more and uh Some people wanted to hide that because maybe they claimed something that wasn't really theirs Am I following you correctly here? Maybe they claimed maybe it was a situation where it was mama's baby and daddy's maybe Oh, you know, yeah Yeah, sometimes sometimes we just don't know sometimes you just don't know but what if he finally just didn't know what if Your significant other and your mother wrote it My significant mother My mother and my mother. Yes, don't come back to her. My mom because they just found so that's a concern I don't think my mom would do it.

I think my mom would have the details. Absolutely correct now to see but As a matter of fact, but I put myself in the address of my day. I go for today. Would you want to write your own obituary?

I have okay Strange that's all I have. I know someone else who the hell was. No, I have Did you put you was a loving son and father? Yep, cuz I am who's their day?

Who's their day? I'm saying I'm saying I'm saying I'm saying my son My son is people say he afraid of me, but he is really really respect me. I think he just respects me. She's not afraid of me Me and my son ever since he was born we had a great relationship Because I feel like first off is my son and always wanted to if I was gonna have any time if I was gonna have any child I want to be a boy, you know, just to carry on their lineage carry on their blue and I you know And ever since he's been born I've been taking care of him With great care if that makes any sense Okay, as great as the care that a father capacity have but also being firm and also being very disciplined with him Okay, and that's what I don't see nothing else.

Yeah, but what if your children don't feel like that? Hey, and they should get up and speak like You know, and I'm just speaking on my own things like in my mind I'm gonna be the best mother in the world and I do this to not bring About this thing we we sit down and have time and we play cards and we do this and we do that What is for? They should have spoken about using a lot of that They should have spoken about using a lot of because I know like um, and I'm I'll tell you I'll be telling you I was like hey when you think this was some bad parents are right here. You should have did you should have did this You know what I'm saying?

Can you really do that? Can I really do that? What do you mean? How worried about doing stuff like that?

Like telling my mom something like that. Not that she not that she would do anything I'm more worried about her feelings than anything for what listen let me tell you some parents Sometimes parents think they're making the best decision for you When you can see certain things that they can't At the time. That's why I try to listen to my son. Maybe more because one time he was like I'm like I'll say this here too.

He was saying now that ain't what happened. I'm like, yes, I just happened It was like no, I'm telling him to have a sense. This happened just like this And then he explained it even further and I was like, you know what I'm saying? He was right.

I was wrong. I should listen to you Okay Sometimes parents think they're making a right decision for the tower and I really not And that's what I'm saying. That's exactly what I'm saying. In my mind.

I'm being the right decision What do we think? They should actually have over communication Okay, the judges come to you and say, hey mom, you did this and I like that Like this like that was totally that was a failure right there But sometimes as parents make mistakes because no there's no correct way to parent unless you um And there's no wrong way to really parent unless you're just you know, very um irresponsible Or you're trying to are doing things with malicious intent, right? Her to kids, but really there's no really wrong way to parent and you have to guide them through this like the best way you can And provide them with structure and the own financial capabilities as much as you can So speaking of that today TV Jake said TV Jake said that one should become a master of a certain point of Parenting then The child gets older Me and when you think you got the title stage down then they're they're adolescent They want to thank you got the adolescent stage down their teenagers and once they're the teenagers are going to be in their groan But you have now yet now you've mastered parenting but the child is grown now. So whatever you did wrong It's basically gonna always stick because you only have one chance to do it Don't think about the t.d.

Jake's portion I'm gonna say I'm gonna say this to them take them to the sneaks When he talks, I know he has a lot of clout because you know, he's a reverending You know a lot of things and all the rest of this stuff they got they got going on but sometimes When people talk people need to cut them off and say that she didn't make no sense at all that I'm saying something You have approximately 21 years to get it right, right? Because when you're 21 years old it could say that to be The real adult stage, but when you're 18 you're kind of grown But you're not but not really you know what I'm saying? Absolutely, but not really still need some guidance but 21 that's really so your brain is fully developed Actually 25 really fully developed but 21 that's what they're saying that you're able to make your decisions on your own You're gonna pay bills and all the rest of this stuff, right? Now You have 21 years to master the skill of parenting.

Okay, you know your children Well, you absolutely know your children, but I cannot agree with them to some extent You you're not you can you can do your best But you you're not going to master the oldest stages of life with your children and that's been Stated in this conversation that we hate your parents make mistakes. You don't you're not going to master parenting First round I agree with that. Well, I feel like personally that my speaking of my mom Mama did not to me master parenting, but she has mastered. I mean mastered being a grandmother Let me tell you something When you say master being a grandmother, you mean by the way When I say she picked she sees details of things that I don't see She sits down and say well, let's say I wouldn't do this because this and this and that she said I didn't see that when you were growing up But now I can kind of see what's going on Well, and let me say I am the only child so she only really had one chance to do this so I think that she's a master the art of understanding and Saying listen that that don't look don't do that because that's not gonna work Maybe you should take another approach and even with just Spending time with the children being there for everything And just being a great parent Because when they're parents first off they got more money another thing is They got more money more resources and the next thing is they're older and more calmer and more patient so they're able to see everything Okay, so that's what makes me think that parenting Because I don't have those things.

I think my niece was some Jordan's own. I was like who bought you some Jordan's she was like no I was like when we was growing up I said I want some drawings. She was like do you got joint money? No one day on the handle of joint money.

I made the joke with my mom about the make-dowling thing I saw it Yeah, me all of a sudden you got that make-dowling money every other day I don't think you can make down those because I was gonna reach out again. So only on Friday. Yeah But they can ask for a month is when the Thursday and she's gonna say okay So I don't think you Master's you can try your best. Yeah, so you would pray that your legacy lives in a good life Let me say this you know you've messed up parenting when you have a self-sufficient adult, right?

We have a self-sufficient adult who doesn't really come to you about their needs Is that necessary? That's necessary parenting to the team Because I know someone that's like that because they didn't have parents Because they didn't have parents. Yes. And what ways?

No, they had parents but it wasn't parents. It wasn't their fault. Correct. Well, yeah, cool those in that person But I'm pretty sure they affected some type of way but Absolutely the any defect in the way that I'm gonna do this on my own do this the right way and do this because I don't listen again That's just my parental self-kickening I just want to be able to do the right thing I hope that I leave a great legacy with my children And I hope they have good things to see about me being a parent but the pressure is very heavy To make those things happen because you won't even know you're gone You know, every now and then educate say hey, you think I'm a good parent And you know sometimes sometimes you know, you might get an answer that you make I like like Nope, you might get that.

Hey, why is it because I don't give you everything you want? What's going on? And how do I explain it to you? Sometimes you might get an answer that you don't need because everybody Let me tell you something.

Everybody isn't fit to be half kids Oh, sure. I'm happy Ask some people don't deserve to have kids And For the most part they send some people they don't want to have kids sometimes it was forced upon them You know in a try these situations, but um my advice that also do want to have kids is to First get yourself financially set for those kids Because I am not first kid when I was 20. I'm just gonna do a lot of self disclosure tonight I'm not first kid when I was 20 and uh, yeah, it was hard man, you know Yes, it was a lot to deal with and but you know still pushing Absolutely from a kid but as far as I've been master and parent and things like that In raising a sufficient adult or dog that's not sufficient and that doesn't come to you for the needs Then and they're able to take care of their own and able to build their own Then that's when you know that you've mastered Now being a master doesn't mean that you make mistakes They're gonna make mistakes. But for example, fly me with let me use boxing because I like boxing Fly me with them Consider one of the not the best one of the best of all time Has made mistakes in the ring and he's got called with punches But the way he reacted to those punches and down the stretch of the fight And how he just kept his composure throughout all That's what made him one of the best out over and a master of his sport and what he did Okay, great Kobe Bryant, which is how my coach Brian didn't make a whole bunch of game winners You know, he'll make every game winner But the way he reacted to those losses that he had when he didn't make those game winners And he kept on working hard at it.

That's what made him a master at his craft and then basketball So as parents we're not gonna get it right out of town, but that doesn't mean it's not a master You're gonna make mistakes. That's how you react to those mistakes is gonna make sure master Absolutely, I don't agree We're about to get out here, Snicks. I got some stuff to do Um, I want to thank you for joining me tonight. Oh, wait But uh first off, you know, you know me.

I mean questions about this But there's obviously tonight. Snicks and night is coming back coming back Don't put a date on it. Okay, so Before summer before the summer. I'm sure I want to get the visuals done I think I want I want to interact more with the people that is listening and I would like for us to have chats in between I want to be maybe like a live stream but we working on Camera stuff and all that but hopefully we can get it done Okay We're changing our vocabulary we getting but and hopefully we get all that vocabulary It's gonna be our most or I will I must and I will get this stuff done.

All right now We're changing this we can get a lot of character vocabulary right now And while speaking about it if anyone Would like to be a part of this camera production any kind of please email me Snicks at night at yahoo Gmail I'm sorry Gmail that kind No, maybe that's what a positive thought mail My father thought tonight is always think about what the future holds lives a day Like it's your last but make sure you're planting great imprints in the same for your legacy It might as well be work on your legacy every day that you get up every second of the hour every hour of the day Work on your legacy Think about what you want to leave behind think about the impact that you want to give the people and leave it behind And don't listen to any negative voices if you got any negative voices in your head You definitely didn't put them down somebody else did so kill that negative voice in your head And we just want to the power once you guys have a good night tonight
