Lv: Rīgā sniga stipri.
En: It was snowing heavily in Rīga.

Lv: Universitātes kopmītnēs radiatori klabēja, mēģinot sasildīt telpas.
En: The radiators in the university dormitories clattered, trying to warm the rooms.

Lv: Daina sēdēja uz sava gultas, ieskauta segā.
En: Daina sat on her bed, wrapped in a blanket.
