Legacy...does yours matter?
from Nadine@9
Abraham was promised that he would be the father of a great nation; yet he did not live to see it. John Quincy Adams devoted the majority of his political life to ending slavery in the United States; yet he did not live to see it.10 generations from now, will anyone look back in gratitude for the sacrifice you made to give them a better future? What has caused us to become so short-sighted?It’s time to act like your legacy matters! Not because YOU will reap the benefits but because you have a duty to God and country to be a good steward of all that’s been entrusted to you. Nathan Bechtold and I set out to discuss Prop A (the minimum wage/mandatory sick pay IP that was passed November ‘24) but we found some interesting rabbit trails along the way!If you have a story you’d like to share about someone’s legacy in your family, I’d love to hear about it! You can send me your story and/or comments at [email protected]. You can find Nathan Bechtold on his very own podcast here!Make sure you tune in next week as I get to interview Bill Federer! You can read more about him and the amazing work he does here. Thanks for reading Nadine@9’s Substack! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work.
