Legacy Pt. 1

Part 1 of our coverage of Star Wars Legacy by Madeleine RouxSet between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker,  Rey struggles with her own feelings of failure and pull to the dark as she attempts to repair the broken Skywalker saber. Leia tries to train Rey with her limited experience in Jedi teachings, but a dark shadow divides them, and Leia grapple with her own feelings of inadequacy and failure. When they travel together to a possible lightsaber forge on Tython, they're both forced to confront their own demons, and the looming threat of Kylo Ren and his military. In the First Order, a major struggles to keep her faith in the Order after an assassination attempt on her life. As she digs deeper into what happened, she finds the Order she has been loyal to may not care whether she lives or dies, and her would-be assassins remain at large as she investigates the truth.
