On this episode of Next on the Tee I'm joined by legendary Broadcaster Ben Wright, Golf Academy Lead Instructor Brian Jacobs, and SuperSpeed Golf Co-Founder and President Mike Napoleon. Ben Wright shared his thoughts on the US Open, the Open Championship and looked ahead to the PGA Championship. We talked about his memory of the 1965 US Open which Gary Player won in a playoff. It was held at Bellerive Country Club site of this year's PGA. He shared his memory of the 1992 PGA Championship, which he helped broadcast, and was also held at Bellerive. We also talked about Tigermania and the disservice the media does to the other players because they are so focused on Tiger. He said the media has never been so focused on any of the other great players like they are on Tiger. He added that Ben Hogan's comeback to win several majors following the car accident that nearly killed him far surpasses the comeback Tiger has made. Brian Jacobs shared his method of teaching junior golfers including assessing their goals and how he goes about making the game fun so they stay excited and engaged. He also talked about how to generate more club head speed plus fix one of our common swing path errors of coming over the top and pull hooking the ball.
