I sit down in the studio with the West Coast legend as he talks about his prominent career and role as not only Ice Cube’s DJ & producer but being a cofounder of the infamous LENCH MOB….. how he came up with the infamous track Jackin For Beats and the most notorious diss song in history! … Yessss…. NO VASELINE!!! And it’s still untouched to this day! The O.G talks about some of the other artists he’s worked with such as YoYo , Public Enemy and more, his days with Deathrow Records, how the West Coast played a majorly significant role in Hip Hop, how the East Coast still does not give the west and south the love and credit it’s deserved when we constantly acknowledge them, the state of Hip Hop today vs then, the state of our culture , the gang culture and how we can genuinely rebuild and unify for good.
