In this ASMR bedtime talk, I tell you stories from West African mythology, including Akan/Ashanti stories (Anansi the Spider), a creation myth from the Dogons, and Yoruba stories involving Olodumare and the Orishas. These peoples live in modern Nigeria, Benin, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, Burkina Faso and Mali. I also tell you a little bit about them and the influence of their faiths on New World religions, including Candomblé, Santería or Haitian Vodou.
