Produced by Illumination, the studio behind the Despicable Me and Minions movies, the film super-smashed box office records to become the highest-grossing video game movie and the third highest-grossing animated movie of all time. While audiences clearly felt the Nintendo Power, critics were largely underwhelmed, citing the film as yet another rote exercise in brand expansion. Now your very own Super Podcast Bros.
