Legislative Awareness

In Episode 52, Ben & Tom discuss action and inaction of of advanced practice providers in regards to legislative awareness.  We talk about your local state legislators and how you go about establishing that vital contact and how you can be an important education piece for them as well.  We wrap up the episode discussing Full Practice Authority and our opinions of that as well as some of the commons myths that are out there in regards to full practice for nurse practitioners. In our SYMHM, we keep with the legislative theme and look at the birth of some potential future changes that could impact providers.
