In 2016 she founded the Ankrum Institute in  Tulsa Oklahoma. After decades of training around the world in various modalities , she used her experience to create  one comprehensive, system. She integrates Osteopathic Manipulation, Lymphatic Massage, Visceral Manipulation, Myofascial Release (Rolfing), Neuro-Muscular Therapy, and Craniosacral Therapy. Leigh opened The ankurm Institute as a way for Ankrum to share her decades of education and experience, training new bodywork practitioners for a new future of healthcare. Ankrum tells students that the coming future is integrative.
