Leigh Steinberg

He was the pioneer in the agent game. Forbes called him the "greatest sports agent in history". He secured over $2 billion for over 100 clients, and directed over $600 million to charities around the world. Director Cameron Crowe based his hit movie "Jerry Macquire" after him. Clients would fight to work with him. He modeled his business after integrity, and demanded his clients become the role models they were called to be...and then, he lost it all. Over a period of a few years, my guest, Leigh Steinberg, lost his father, 2 homes, his business, his fortune, and 2 of his children developed incurable eye diseases. He found his solace in endless bottles of vodka, and checked out from reality. He found himself back in the place where his business began back in the 70's: his parents' basement. After an epiphany, a 12-step program, and the desire to keep the values his father taught him, Steinberg has risen from the ashes to get back in the game. Hear his honest and open story on what he's learned and where he's headed, and most importantly, what really drives him today! Check out his new book, or other books he's penned, and amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, or any bookstores in your area. Presented By: www.Truckmovers.com www.steinbergsports.net
