Leika [Journey Series]

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series! On this edition we welcome @leikamusic Leika is a DJ from the Black Forest in the South of Germany. Her musical spectrum ranges from slow to fast, from deep and versatile Downtempo to fluffy Techno and groovy Deep Tech. Her ability to adapt and transform makes it hard to pinpoint her style, but you can be sure that she always manages to make you smile. Here are a few words from the artist: "Sometimes life just rushes by and you just stand there: „Wait - what about me!“ Then you need to take a break, otherwise you don’t get anything done. So this is what this set is: the story of someone taking a short break in all the busy-ness of the daily grind, starting with much-needed calmness (beginning with a track I coproduced with my partner Konrad Dycke for our project Daeumelin, a long time ago), and then slowly picking up energy and developing into a more lighthearted sound, ending again with something peaceful."
