Leitrim Teacher & Councillor hopes changes to state examinations will help students reach true potential

Manorhamilton based Councillor and teacher James Gilmartin had called for such measures by tabling motions at Local Authority level He says additional time for students with Dyslexia, and other learning difficulties should be introduced for State examinations. The Independent Councillor says offering additional time for students with learning difficulties would improve their ability to demonstrate their true academic potential
