Lemur munching

from Alexds · host Alexds

Recording made in Andasibe forest in Madagascar this is the sound of a Babakoto (Indry Indry) lemur munching on a chriptocariae leaf, deep in the forest. A magical moment watching the confident animal reach for the leaf in biologist Joseph's hand. The lemur has an expressionless face and can turn its head 360 degrees which, as a human, makes you laugh. Next to Andasibe, within earshot of the lemur, the world's biggest cobalt and nickel mine is being built. It is a crime
