Lent Day 24 An Introduction to Titus- Who Do You Think You Are?

Join Susan Downie your host as she introduces us to the book of Titus. Here she begins the journey with a brief but interesting overview of the origins of the writer of this letter, the apostle Paul. She explains his heritage and his command of both scripture and language identifying his relationship with the Greek translations of the old testament the Septuagint. Susan informs us of his Roman citizenship and how that would have come about. Paul being from Tarsus a Free Roman City. All this in order to give context to the letter and credence to the writer. She sites Biblestudy.org as her main source and is following a book by Tim Chester called Titus for you but has not used his material as yet.  Susan invites us all to ask for God's revelation with regards to our purpose and the plans God has  prepared in advance for each one of us.
