Lent Day 36 Palm Sunday: From Praise to Bitter Water

Join Your host Susan Downie who invites listeners to a 15–20 minute quiet time exploring Palm Sunday, Exodus 14–15, and the name Jehovah Rapha (the LORD who heals). She reflects on miracles, human tendency to complain after blessings, physical and spiritual dehydration, and how the cross provides healing and spiritual refreshment. She advises we spend some time thinking about our own situations and reflecting on whether we also, like the crowd on Palm Sunday, Praise Jesus on day 1 but by day 3 complain.  Like the people of God in the wilderness at Marah, do we find the bitter water unpalatable despite it being the best for us at the time.  Susan recommends we avoid the desire to control outcomes this week and worship the LORD who heals Jehovah Rapha.
