LEO Josh Shimko talks real truth abut his PTSD and complete hell he has been forced to navigate since his diagnosis.

from Steel City Round Table Podcast · host Mark Kneebone

Josh Shimko has been an LEO for over two decades. He has served in metropolitan as well as smaller departments throughout his distinguished career. He has seen it all and has the scars and the tee shirt. Josh was diagnosed with PTSD and depression as a result of his experiences on the job. You know how his two decades of service were rewarded? Not a "thank you" or a "job well done" that's for sure. Instead his current department is trying to shove him out the door rather than help him recover and heal. This is absolutely disgusting in every way. These police departments truly do not care about the mental well being of their officers. It's more about saving money and checking the DEI boxes. If you are an LEO this is definitely a do not miss no brainer. The verdict is in, you don't matter to the powers that be. You are merely a tool to be used and thrown away when you are no longer useful to them and their misguided agendas. Tune in as we tell you how it really is!!
