Leon: The Professional

from The Best Movies You've Never Seen · host Trevor Long & Stephen Fenech

Luc Besson directs this assassin's tale starring Jean Reno and Gary Oldman - but with a standout starring debut movie performance by Natalie Portman. Portman is the young 12-year-old Mathilda who is reluctantly taken in by Léon, a professional assassin, after her family is murdered. An unusual relationship forms as she becomes his protégée and learns the assassin's trade. Stephen Rates this highly, but Trev's never heard of it. So tune in as we unpack the movie end to end and discuss it's variations, strange scenes and overall story line.
