Leonardo Bettiol Signs Pro Contract

Leonardo Bettiol, UMass’s standout scorer and rebounder, has signed his first pro contract in Italy with A.S. Pistoia Basket 2000 — a fitting next step after a breakout senior season where he led the Minutemen with 18.1 PPG and 7.8 RPG, ranked top nationally in FG% and finished 4th in MAC scoring. His 17-game double-digit scoring streak, 32-point OT explosion, and clutch tournament performances prove he’s ready to dominate at the next level.
