Leonardo Ricci

Leonardo Ricci (Roma, 8 giugno 1918 – Venezia, 29 settembre 1994) è stato un architetto italiano molto amato, di origini franco svizzere ed estremamente poliedrico. Ha indossato le vesti del progettista, ma anche quelle del pittore, dello scenografo, dell'urbanista, e del docente. Ricci è stato uno degli esponenti della Scuola Fiorentina guidata da Giovanni Michelucci, che considerava non solo un maestro, ma anche un padre. La sua architettura è un dinamico atto di vita: essa si concentra sul lieto vivere delle persone che la abitano, senza mai dimenticarsi del paesaggio che le abbraccia, dei materiali locali che la modellano e del rifiuto verso uno stile fatto di forme prestabilite.
