Leprechaun movies & St. Paddy's Day stuff!

Welcome to Friday! Big weekend ahead with the World's Shortest Run/Walk on Saturday & St. Paddy's Day on Sunday…plus, it's Selection Sunday! Shaw is back in the news room today & we talked about the plans for the bridge in Lansing, and since it's Bret Michaels' 61st birthday, we discussed his plans for touring in the next year or two. The Badgers got a win in their first game of the Big Ten Tourney, and Aaron Rodgers responded to the claims that he thinks the Sandy Hook shooting was a government conspiracy. Let you know what's on TV & in theaters this weekend, and Brian went on a VERY deep dive about the Leprechaun films. Had a cool story about a company that's looking to break a world record for the most hair donated in 24 hours. Jean is flying in a few weeks and Brian keeps trying to convince her to watch the "Last Week with John Oliver" video about Boeing…needless to say, she's not interested. Doc popped into the studio this morning for this week's Racing Report, and during today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about some students taking magic mushrooms, a cop vs. a turkey, a bald eagle that got hit by a car, a ski bus in Colorado that got stuck in the snow, a brewery that got a bomb threat because of a drag show, Pornhub in Texas, and police in Canada are advising residents to leave the keys to their cars on the door of their house so thieves don't break in, and a drunk woman who didn't know the difference between suck & blow.
