Leprechaun Returns

This week we are discussing 2018's Leprechaun Returns. It's our 1st Leprechaun sequel and Jamie's first one. This movie had us talking about the main girl being a possible love child of Tori and Ozzie from the original, the rules of Leprechaun gaining his powers, the lack of emotion when people die, the lack of freaking out when meeting a real life leprechaun, and lots more. For it, I talked with Griff Furst who plays Agent Burke, but when Griff isn’t acting, he’s directing, producing, and writing. Griff has directed a lot of sci fi movies like Lake Placid 3 and Swamp Shark.  He has a great story about DB Sweeney and Wade Boggs you are gonna love.  He recently produced Devil’s Peak starring Robin Wright, Billy Bob Thornton, and Jackie Earle Haley.  We talked about growing up with a big time Hollywood dad, Stephen Furst “Flounder” in Animal House, hanging out on the set of St. Elsewhere and Dream Team, and how to actually get a movie made.  Great chat.
