Sa présentation analysera de manière critique le mécanisme du Projet de Loi de Financement de la Sécurité Sociale (PLFSS) en prenant appui sur les discussions autour de sa mouture 2025 et ses implications pour la soutenabilité du système de santé français. La présentation examinera les enjeux de financement à long terme, les défis posés par le vieillissement de la population et l'augmentation des maladies chroniques, ainsi que les inégalités d'accès aux soins. Abdullah Hakim Quick Muslim Central Shaykh Abdullah Hakim Quick, PhD, is the Head of our Islamic History and Homiletics Department. His students dub him as “old school Dr. Quick” and find his Boston accent a rather smile-jerking classroom staple.He has accomplished a lifetime worth of achievements spanning many continents while enlightening the lives of millions. He was born in the United States of America and accepted Islam in Canada in 1970. He pursued his study of Islam at the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia where he graduated and received an Ijaza from the College of Da’wah and Islamic Sciences in 1979, one of first two students to do so from the West. He later completed a Masters Degree and a Doctorate in African History at the University of Toronto in Canada.He has served as Imam, Daa’iyyah, teacher and counsellor in the USA, Canada, South Africa and the West Indies. Presently he is a Senior Lecturer with the Islamic Institute of Toronto (I.I.T.). Sajid Ahmed Umar Muslim Central Sheikh Sajid Umar was born in Leicester, UK. He attended primary and secondary school and college in Harare (Zimbabwe), where he studied IT and obtained a first class degree. Having memorised the Quran at the age of 18 and successfully opening an IT business, he turned his attention towards Islamic studies. He travelled to Riyadh where he enrolled at Imam Muhammed Ibn Saud Islamic University completing a University Diploma in Arabic language and Islamic Sciences. He continued his studies at al-Imam University, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Shariah, and a master’s degree in Judiciary (Qadha) from the Higher Institute for Judiciary Studies (Ma’had al-ali li’l-Qada) at al-Imam University. His Master’s Thesis was a Shariah based study of Liquidity Management using the famous Repurchase Agreement concept.
