Survival expert best known as the creator, writer, producer, director, cameraman and host of the television series Survivorman. Les embarked into the wilderness alone filming everything all alone by himself. He is largely credited with creating the genre of outdoor survival shows. Les Stroud's television programs have been cited by several people as the reason they lived through harrowing wilderness ordeals.
