from Painted Trash: An LGBTQ+ Podcast of Hilarious Discourse · host Mark & Casey

Send us Fan MailWelcome to Episode 220! The world is all over the place and so much feels out of control.  From layoffs, gifted airplanes, film production, hell, even theater (yes - it's still an important part of our culture)!  The Boys are sitting down to catch up, and discuss the most recent chapter of the fascist takeover of an American Institution. That's right, The Boys have been paying attention and talking to insiders to get the tea on the upcoming performance of Les Miserables which has MAGA up in arms and foaming at the mouth! With 12 performers refusing to perform if a certain person is in the audience that night, a fundraising event performance for the storied venue-- a beacon of culture and the performing arts.  It's a boycott and a showing of personal ethics.  What's it all about, why are they boycotting, who is boycotting, and whats the fallout been?  Casey & Mark are sharing it all with you and weighing in (you probably already can guess their feelings -- but can you guess their thoughts?).Kicking off this week's Pick-Up, Mark & Casey are catching up on a couple events from their calendars this week, including a rundown on the best dressed from The Met Gala; and the naming of the new Pope of the Roman Catholic Church (he's a local, can you believe it??)In Trash Talk this week Mark's bringing the story we knew would happen -- some bathroom trash outta Boston, Casey's bringing how the governor of Maine's threat worked out for her. Then The Boys are discussing road rage taken to an extreme.Of course there's recommendations too -- a streamer and an album!  You gotta listen to find out what those could possibly be.Y'all -- this one's got hilarity (complete with bust-ups), discourse (shade), and faggotry (well...) -- so The Boys are checking all the boxes this week. So fill up your glass with a nice Spring bevvie, pull up a stool to the pub height table and take a seat.  Get ready because it's time to paint!!=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-Let The Boys of Painted Trash know your thoughts on this week's topics and episode!
