Less than a week to the SC Primaries, Democrats leading in early voting

00:00 Welcome back to the program. Glad to have you along with us on this Wednesday. Wednesday, we got less than a week to the primaries. Lots of decisions to be made. You got governor, you got attorney general, you got... I mean, it's just, I know it's a lot and it's a lot to keep up with. Know a lot of people out there have already gotten their votes in. Kind of interesting when you look at exactly who has voted already. It looks like the Democrats 00:29 are leading in the early voting here in South Carolina. that's, you know, I'm surprised at that, but then I'm kind of not surprised at that. Because when you take a look and you see, as of yesterday, we had 207,261 South Carolinians that early voted, as according to SC Votes. 00:58 Of those 132,000 01:04 Approximately 532,500. Those were Democrats, but only 74,809 Republicans have actually voted in the primary so far. So you guys let me know because I mean, when I mentioned that my wife and I are going to go early vote tomorrow, um people are always, I'm voting day up. I'm voting day up. Okay. But that's fine. I don't, I don't mind that. And I understand your reasoning behind a lot of that. um Cause it's election day, not election week or month. 01:34 But if the Democrats are going to use this to their advantage, got to be willing to do the same thing. Because get those votes in. That's what I'm going to do. We're to get out there. We're going to vote um tomorrow. And it's going to be there. And that way, anything that happens on Tuesday, and Tuesday's going to be a very busy day, we got to 02:01 Everything going on out there Judson mill with the with the election results party. It's going to be a very busy day. I would hate to be sitting there going oh man I forgot to vote. If you just moved here a couple of months ago, you would have thought that Greenville, South Carolina and the upstate was just an absolute paradise, right? 03:00 Yeah, you would you sure would. In fact, this morning it was like 60 something degrees. It was not yet cool this morning. It was nice and chilly and that is not exactly I want to say thriving weather for yards. mean, people are noticing that, you know, their logs are a little a little lazy right now. Yes. It's it's it's it's it's we've been getting a lot of calls about people being concerned because their yards aren't greening up as they normally do and. 03:30 It's probably just the weather. really is. Um, it's a bit like their meter grass tends to grow better when the temperatures are between 70 and 75 at night. so even it can get down a little bit 68, but so that's one reason a lot of people are seeing a little bit slower to further the grasses to respond. Same thing with Zoysia. We're seeing Zoysia it's kind of still trying to wake up. So your lawn is probably okay. It's probably just, you know, one of those things just get a little time. 04:00 Give it a little time. And, I noticed a lot of these commercial guys, they'll come out and they'll just really push that nitrogen. Should we be pushing nitrogen on our lawn at this stage? Um, it won't hurt anything necessarily. It can cause a little bit of burning. A lot of times what people will do if it's the one is the way they tend to think, Oh, just push fertilizer. So it's more of the frequency and the cumulative effect that it has. So what I would tell them is kind of hold off. 04:30 ...
