Lesson 1: Paul’s Ministry in Corinth — Q3

Welcome to SUMtv Sabbath School, Lesson 1 of Quarter 3 in our study of First and Second Corinthians. In this opening lesson, Paul’s Ministry in Corinth, we examine the apostle Paul’s work in one of the most strategic yet challenging cities of the ancient world. Corinth was a major center of commerce, culture, and immorality. Despite its spiritual darkness, God used Paul to establish a strong Christian church there. This lesson highlights how the gospel took root in a difficult environment and how God’s grace transforms lives even in the most unlikely places. We will also look at Paul’s missionary strategy, his partnership with Aquila and Priscilla, and the perseverance required to preach Christ in a secular society. These lessons remain deeply relevant for the church today as we seek to remain faithful in a complex world.
