Thank you for listening!Text:- Do you have any pets?- I do. I have a turtle.- A turtle! That’s unusual.- Is it? I don’t know. It just feels normal to me because it’s always been there.- You’ve always had a turtle?- Yes, it was there before I was born.- It’s more than twenty five years old?- It is! It’s always been with us. It appeared in the vegetable garden one day and ate all of the lettuce that my mom had planted. And it never left.- This is so funny to me. I know people who have cats and dogs and fish but I’ve never met someone who had a turtle. Does it have a name?- Actually, no, it doesn’t. We just call it turtle.- This is hilarious!- Do you have a pet?- No, I don’t. I wish I did.- Have you ever had a pet?- Yes, when I was a child we had a dog called Laika.- So many dogs are called Laika.- Of course! It’s named after the first dog in space! That’s an excellent name, if you ask me.- Oh, that’s the reason. I didn’t know.
