You want to take a photo at a famous spot, but you're not sure if you're allowed to or not. You: "Shashin, ii desuka" (May I take a photo?) Attendant: "Ii desu yo. Doozo" (It's okay, please go ahead) Or if photos are not allowed: You: "Shashin, ii desuka" (May I take a photo?)
