Lesson 14 | The Davidic Covenant

Israel's request for a king was a downgrade - for God was already their king. Israel's history under the kings revealed more failure. After the first course of punishment under the law, God manifested Israel's need for a Redeemer, Deliverer, Avenger, King, and Blesser. It would be the covenant made with David that would take away the first covenant to establish the second. Josh Strelecki, Pastor-Teacher examines the relationship of the Davidic Covenant with the old and new covenants along with the substance of God making David a house to build David a house - thus Jesus would come from the seed of David, yet would be David's Lord.
