How Psalm 1 and 2 function as a "prelude" to the 150 Psalms, which can be coined as a five-movement cantata. We uncover how the Psalms are tied to the blessing from God in Gen 1:28 and the curse in Gen 3:15. We see how Psalm 1 sets up a contrast with blessedness and wickedness in the world. We also see purpose in how the Palter is arranged similar to the 5 books by Moses known as the Torah and receive teaching that what truly guides our hearts will shape our lives.
