🌸 Beginner Japanese Lesson 24-3 | 友達（ともだち）に手伝（てつだ）ってもらいました。🌸 What is the difference between ～てもらいます and ～てくれます? Both are used when someone does something for you, but the focus is different. ✨ ～てもらいます 私（わたし）は友達（ともだち）に引（ひ）っ越（こ）しを手伝（てつだ）ってもらいました。 ➡️ I received my friend’s help with moving. 👉 私（わたし）は Aさんに ～てもらいます The focus is on me receiving someone’s action. ✨ ～てくれます 友達（ともだち）が私（わたし）の引（ひ）っ越（こ）しを手伝（てつだ）ってくれました。 ➡️ My friend helped me with moving. 👉 Aさんが（私に）～てくれます The focus is on someone giving an action to me. 💡 These two sentences can describe the same event, but from a different point of view!
