Lessons from Higgy - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1879

“Send Coach John a message”I saw this post that connected directly to one of my favorite all-time shoes, Ted Lasso. This post was from one of the characters on the show, Higgins and it was one of so many life lessons shared on the show. In a conversation with another character, Roy - Higgins mentioned this to him: “Human beings are never going to be perfect, Roy. The best we can do is keep asking for help and accepting it when you can. And if you keep on doing that, you’ll always be moving towards better.”  Asking for help is something that many have trouble with doing and some even have trouble giving help too.  Recently going through another operation, I’ve been put in the position of needing a lot of help. My wife has gone beyond “stepping up”, as she is doing everything. Today, I’m getting around better and doing a bit more for myself. This point from the show really got me thinking about not only my life right now - but also the way it should be more often. If we are looking for help (and we should be open to that), we need to be more helpful towards others.
